FAQs

At iMatch Franchise, we understand that starting a franchise is a big decision and we want to provide you with all the information you need to make the right choice. Read some of the most frequently asked questions below to learn about the benefits of owning a franchise or contact us for additional assistance.

Q. Why Should I Buy a Franchise Business?
When you own a franchise you are in business for yourself, but not by yourself. When iMatch presents a franchise opportunity to you, we will only present “tried and true” businesses, setting the stage for a positive business venture. Each franchise has an existing business plan, training schedule, possible marketing opportunities and ongoing support to assist you. Last year, 43% of all retail goods and services were sold through franchised outlets and owning a franchise dramatically increases your chance of success.

Q. Does iMatch Franchise Charge Any Upfront Fees?
The franchise buyer (franchisee) does not pay for the services that iMatch Franchise provides. You will pay the published price for any franchise, just as if you had gone directly to the franchisor. iMatch Franchise is paid a consultant's fee by the franchisor. Why? The franchisors respect the process we follow and recognize the quality and fit of clients we refer to them after our consultation with you.

Q. Does iMatch Franchise Offer Tax & Legal Counsel?
No. We are careful to present only the best business opportunities through extensive research prior to the franchisor match process, but we recommend that you seek advice from a qualified attorney or CPA before making a major business purchase decision.

Q. What Is the Next Step?
Call the iMatch Franchise toll-free number to set up a 1-hour meeting either in person or over the phone. Our goal is to find the perfect fit according to your specific needs and wants. In order to do this we will ask you a series of detailed questions. Examples of these questions are as follows:

  • Why do you want to be a business owner?
  • Have you ever owned a business of your own?
  • What hours would you prefer to work?
  • Preferred business location?
  • Are you comfortable managing people?
  • Will you have partners?
  • How much capital do you have to start a business with?
  • Are you interested in a single unit or multiple unit business structure?
  • How soon do you want your business to open?
  • Will you be involved on a full-time or part-time basis?

The process of sorting through over 5,000 franchise opportunities can be a long, confusing process. Many people spend months, without ever finding an opportunity that has what they really want and need in a business.

At iMatch we’ve done a lot of the homework for you. Each business has been meticulously pre-screened and investigated by us and our Business Alliance Affiliates. They must meet the criteria and standards we have set to be included in our inventory. We do all of this so we can offer the franchise opportunity that will be the perfect match.

Q. How Does iMatch Franchise Differ from a Standard Business Brokerage?
A business brokerage lists and sells existing businesses, often including real estate and leases in the sale. iMatch Franchise represents only new or existing franchise opportunities.

Q. How soon can I get my business started?
This depends almost completely on you. The franchise consultation process can be completed easily within a few days if you are responsive and motivated. After you begin investigating opportunities, most clients can find a great match for them within one to three months. After you select the right business for you, it will typically take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months for your actual business to open for operation.
